8 out of 49 Winners were female. Also did you know that in the past 6 years, 899 people were nominated and only 9% were female??
We know that there were many deserving woman in the music industry that deserved a Grammy award this year. However, all winners despite gender should be congratulated. It is not the award winners' fault that The Grammys went male this year. Next year, hopefully, The Grammys will take the right steps to ensure those who are full of talent don't get snubbed over sexist standards.
