How I calm down on stressful days

Hey there! You probably clicked this article either because you have a stressful day right now, or you sometimes do. I think that we all have them from time to time. It could either be when school is just a lot to handle, or some other struggles that you're facing yourself. When I have those days, I used to not know what to do and how to calm me down. But I have found a way that makes me feel chill and worry less, and I would love to share this with you so you can maybe pick it up yourself, or just get inspired!

When I feel like I just can't do anything at all, I'm stressed and just simply don't know what to do anymore. I like to be creative and let my mind wonder off and just do something where I don’t have to think at all. I like to put some music or YouTube video's on as background sounds and listen to people who inspire me and make me feel like I can do anything and everything. While listing to that music I like to sit at a desk, so I have enough space for my creative mess. When sitting at that desk I most of the time end up doing either bullet journal stuff, or something fun with makeup!

I created my bullet journal sometime last year and just the feeling that you can do whatever with it and you can just be creative without limits is nice. I like to collect stuff from places where I go and write about my favorite memory that I made that day. So that later when I have the need to look back at amazing memories, I can do that by looking at this small piece of art that I created. The other thing that I really like doing is makeup, and again there are no limits! You can do whatever you want and be whoever you want while doing it. I like to create colorful looks and share them with my followers on social media, and all the replies really make me smile and get a huge confident boost. It is something that I have not been doing for long, but it has been amazing so far.

The last thing is writing, and I only found this out just now. How crazy is that! I started writing for TTH just now, since this is my first post. And it really makes me feel calm and it feels so good to put all my thought on paper and hopefully help others with my words.

Of course, this helps for me, but I just wanted to share this to inspire people and maybe help them feel calmer while picking up on my tips, or even reading this post! This is only my first blog post for this amazing platform, and I cannot wait to start sharing more of me, my life, my struggles and of course my happy moments with all people who take the time to read this.
